Self Reflection

A black background with four different colored gears.

How you were raised along with your role in your family can play a significant role in how you set and preserve boundaries.

For example, if you played the role of caretaker, and learned from a young age to focus on the needs of others, that draining feeling can become your norm. These roles played in your early life are the building blocks for who you are today, which is why they’re important to consider when assessing your own behaviors.

While it can certainly be challenging to push up against old habits, it’s definitely possible to mend and improve your ways. It all just starts with a bit of self-reflection!
